In The Beginning – Practice Efficient Use of Energy to Sustain Our Future

The year was 2015, and our company founder Steven & Chun had visited a few manufacturing plant as part of their Engineering Plant Tour. Main focus of the tour was evaluation on the plant machineries performance and efficient use of energy as well. Throughout the tour, they found that most of the plant had operated in an inefficient way such as heat loss through naked/damaged insulation steam piping, air leakages through piping and fittings, conventional type of facility & operation control system, waste heat direct to drain and etc. From the visit, what they had concluded that the efficient use of energy in most of the manufacturing plant is still in poor level. Quite simply, they wanted to help businesses to optimize their efficiency, profits and stay competitiveness through energy efficient management and provide long term partnerships that combat Global Climate Change and other Energy-Related Challenges as well.

On this day onwards, at home, they tried looking for energy efficient management company through online and was unsuccessful. Although there were a lot of websites pop up on energy efficient, what was interesting to them were that there was no major energy management company that specialized in energy efficient management. So, since it was 2015 and anything seemed possible at the time, they decided to quit their day job and start an efficient use of energy management consulting company and techchamp.com.my was born!
